For the second consecutive month, Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India retained its 3rd position in the two wheeler industry by logging total sales of 1,91,584 units in December 2011, thereby, recording a 36pc increase as compared to December 2010. The company sold 78,721 motorcycles (25pc increase) and 112,863 scooters (45pc increase) during the same period. For the period April to December 2011, the company has sold 14,91,345 units (21pc increase).
